Chuck Norris says Chuck Norris lookalike at Capitol riots is not Chuck Norris

The actor, martial artist and internet sensation has released a statement abating rumours that he stormed the US Capitol.

A picture of a Chuck Norris lookalike, who was part of the riots in Washington DC last week, has forced the man himself to shut down allegations that it is indeed him.

Chuck Norris, who can make onions cry, wrote on Twitter: “I recently learned there was a Chuck Norris lookalike at the DC Capitol riots. It wasn’t me and I wasn’t there. There is no room for violence of any kind in our society. I am and always will be for Law and Order.

One of the original pictures of the Chuck Norris lookalike was doing the rounds online. One social media user uploaded an image of the rioter, saying: “I have no doubt Chuck Norris is MAGA but this guy isn’t him. Very good lookalike but too young”

Chuck Norris, who narrates Morgan Freeman’s life, has remained quiet in his senior years. At the age of 80, his most recent movie role was in ‘The Expendables 2’ in 2012, but did make some TV appearances last year on ‘Hawaii Five-O’ and ‘TNA iMPACT! Wrestling’.

His ‘Expendables 2’ co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger recently condemned the acts of violence in the US, while brandishing his ‘Conan the Barbarian’ sword.
