British Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Is Not A Fan Of Birthday Parties

British Royal Family News find that while the royal family has pretty much grown accustomed to celebrating lavish birthday parties with all of the pomp and circumstance that you would expect (like Queen Elizabeth’s Trooping the Colours Parade), it looks like this royal would rather just keep the festivities to a bare minimum.

Of course, we are talking about Kate Middleton. Even though she just celebrated her 39th birthday, reports say that the Duchess of Cambridge is happy that her celebration was a small affair with just her closest family members around. That’s because Kate apparently isn’t a fan of birthday parties. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Is Not A Fan Of Birthday Parties

Kate rung in her 39th birthday with just her husband Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis by her side. One source told Vanity Fair, “Kate’s not into big birthday celebrations, but George and Charlotte adore birthday cake, so there will be a special tea party at the Palace with candles and presents.”

Meanwhile, insiders say that Kate isn’t the kind of royal that you’d expect her to be, seeing how she is a future Queen of England. In fact, she’s quite ‘normal’ behind closed doors and doesn’t like to make a fuss about many things at all.

According to People Magazine, sources close to the royal say that the Duchess of Cambridge is a confident mom who is always doing her best to keep her three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – ‘grounded.’

The tipster told the publication, “Kate is very chilled at home. It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces. When you see her behind closed doors with the children, she’s a very confident mom, and she’s no pushover. The children get told off if they act up.”

With that said though, the Duchess of Cambridge does certainly get a lot of help behind the scenes as she has a full staff to help her, too. In addition to her parents Michael and Carole Middleton, Kate also relies on her children’s nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo, who has been with the family since 2014. What’s more, Kate’s assistant and right-hand woman Natasha Archer is always there to help her.

“If you look at the people around her, it’s a tight team,” says the source close to Kate. “She would be lost without Maria, Tash and everyone. They work very hard, but they make it possible for Kate to juggle everything.”
